The Big Half

London’s Big Half is one of the capital’s most exciting new races which takes you through the heart of London with miles of iconic landmarks and streets lined with hundreds of cheering supporters! You will never be lonely running the Big Half!

The event is now one of the UK’s biggest running festival with worldwide TV coverage when 20,000 will take to the streets of London! You’ll start at the famous Tower of London, taking in the best sights of east London, before crossing over the iconic Tower Bridge finishing at Cutty Sark – one of London’s biggest tourist attractions!

As the Big Half covers a large part of the famous London Marathon route, you’re sure to feel the excitement of taking part in this great race which covers most of the London Marathon route.

Don’t forget to visit the Sport and Fitness Festival and pick up your fantastic finishers medal at the end!

Get Kids Going!

Get Kids Going! is a national charity which gives disabled children and young people, up to the age of 26 years, the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport. We provide them with specially built sports wheelchairs so they can do: athletics, marathons, tennis, skiing, rugby, sailing, basketball, snowboarding and many other sports.

Get Kids Going! inspires young people to compete in sporting events, from start to paralympic level, by also giving them annual sports grants to help with their; training, travel, competition fees and the development of sports’ equipment. With your help many of these amazing youngsters can become world record holders and paralympic champions!
