More skiing success for Get Kids Going! at the IPC Skiing World Championships!

Millie Knight and her guide, Jen Kehoe, have added another medal to their growing collection with a bronze in the women’s visually impaired slalom.


On the last day of the IPC Skiing World Championships in Panorama. Canada the Get Kids Going! athlete finished the two runs in 3rd place with a time of 2:31:81 securing the bronze medal.


The event was won by Aleksandra Franceva and guide Semen Pliaskin with the silver medal going to Melissa Perrine and guide Andrew Borr.

The other members of the Get Kids Going! skiing team were also in action on the final day of the World Championships.


James Whitley came a fantastic 9th in the men’s standing slalom an improvement on his position at the Sochi Paralympics.


In the Men’s sitting slalom Ben Sneesby managed made the race of his life finishing in 6th.


Benji Millard, who was competing in his first major Championships, sadly did not finish the race.


The team have had an amazing time out in Canada and we are extremely pleased of all of them and how well they have done!
