Singing and dancing for Get Kids Going!

Head North in Crondall

Crondall in Hampshire is going to be full of live music and dancing on Saturday night.

Melanie Rose has organised a concert to raise money for Get Kids Going! after a friend decided to run the Virgin Money London Marathon for the charity.

The concert includes Celtic folk band called Head North, a picnic drinks and much more and will be a fantastic night.

Melanie spoke to us about the event, “My husband is in the band, he is the guitarist and lots of my friends wanted to hear the band.”

“Charity is in my blood and when my friend, Debbie told us she was running the London Marathon for Get Kids Going! I wanted to help.”

Debbie has been training extremely hard and Melanie hopes the concert will help her reach her fundraising target, “I had not heard of Get Kids Going! before Debbie told me about them but as works 6 days a week I wanted to help with her fundraising and this seemed the perfect thing to do.”
