Get Kids Going! is delighted to learn that the Scottish Wheelchair Curling Team won Silver Medals today in Prague at the IPC World Championships. Skip, Aileen Neilson, who is a wonderful supporter of Get Kids Going! led the Team of Angie Malone, Tom Killin, Michael McKenzie and Gregor Ewan, to victory over Norway to reach the Final only to lose to Canada and so getting a Silver Medal at the World Championshiops.

Get Kids Going! is delighted at such news as the charity is working with the Scottish Team to promote and bring on young athletes to join the Scottish and GB curling teams. Jane Emmerson, CEO, of Get Kids Going! said "I am thrilled to bits that Aileen and the Team had such a fantastic result and I am very proud of the team having supported them and seen them play magnificently against the USA, Russia, Sweden etc in Prague last week. The charity is delighted to be working with the Team to encourage young disabled athletes to take up curling and we plan to work to work with Aileen and her team to bring on even more talent in the build up to the Winter Paralympics in Sochi, Russia, in 2014. We all send our best wishes to all the Team for doing so magnificently and bringing home the Silver Medals. It is well deserved
