Brighton Marathon

The Brighton Marathon 2026 is one of the most popular races in the UK attracting over 20,000 runners each year keen to have a day at the seaside and take in the magnificent views!  The Brighton Marathon has a unique atmosphere, almost like the London Marathon, with hundreds of cheering crowds, all out to enjoy a day by the sea!   The race starts at Preston Park, in the heart of Brighton, it winds its way through Brighton’s vibrant and colourful city centre, then along the sea shore and back to Brighton where you will run through the finish line right next to the famous Brighton Pier!  The Brighton Marathon 2026 is one of the World’s most celebrated and famous seaside marathons – great seafront atmosphere, brilliantly organised, lots of fresh air and don’t forget the compulsory fish and chips when you’ve finished!

Come and join in an atmosphere like no other in this bustling, vibrant and colourful city, which welcomes thousands of spectators and local community each year.   Make a weekend of it, stay in one of Brighton’s fantastic seaside hotels, shop, eat, drink and run then celebrate together in the unique Finish Line Beach Village!  The Brighton Marathon 2026 is an event for everyone, with something for all ages and abilities. Get Kids Going!

Get Kids Going! is a national charity which gives disabled children and young people, up to the age of 26 years, the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport. We provide them with specially built sports wheelchairs so they can do: athletics, marathons, tennis, skiing, rugby, sailing, basketball, snowboarding and many other sports.

Get Kids Going! inspires young people to compete in sporting events, from start to paralympic level, by also giving them annual sports grants to help with their; training, travel, competition fees and the development of sports’ equipment. With your help many of these amazing youngsters can become world record holders and paralympic champions!
