Get Kids Going! has taken runners to the Berlin Marathon for over 25 years. The BMW Berlin Marathon 2024, 50th Anniversary race, will be a special event, featuring numerous celebrations to mark this incredible year. The 50th Anniversary race a ‘must run’ for any marathon runner, offers a chance to participate in this special event. Electric Atmosphere

With over 40,000 runners taking part, the atmosphere is electric! This famous course runs right through the centre of Berlin. You’ll run past all the famous sites and landmarks including… The Reichstag, Berlin Wall, Berliner Dom, The Victory Column and Checkpoint Charlie are all on route.

You will also start and finish your race at the famous Brandenburg Gate… where that 50th Anniversary Medal will be waiting for you when you finish!

Get Kids Going! A National Charity

Get Kids Going! is a national charity which gives disabled children and young people, up to the age of 26 years, the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport. We provide them with specially built sports wheelchairs so they can therefore do: athletics, marathons, tennis, skiing, rugby, sailing, basketball, snowboarding as well as many other sports.

Get Kids Going! inspires young people to compete in sporting events, from start to paralympic level, by also giving them annual sports grants to help with their; training, travel, competition fees and the development of sports’ equipment. With your help many of these amazing youngsters can become world record holders and paralympic champions!
