Harmonie Mutuelle Paris Half Marathon
The Harmonie Mutuelle Paris Half Marathon is one of the best half marathons in the world with over 40,000 runners and very popular with first time runners at this distance. Here’s why,.. you’ll run past some of the most famous sites and landmarks of Paris; Notre Dame, Place de la Bastille, Hôtel de Ville and Place de la Nation, are all en route!
The race is expected to start in the area of the Place de la Bastille. turning sharply to run along the picturesque River Seine before heading to the largest park in Paris, the Bois de Vencennes. Created by Emperor Napoleon lll, the park was a part of the forest that surrounded the ancient Roman town of Lutetia. A place to revisit after the race, perhaps.
Then out of the English landscaped gardens of the Bois de Vencennes along the Avenue Daumesnil to the sight of the most famous landmark of Paris, the Eiffel Tower, directly ahead.
With musical entertainment along the way creating a magical atmosphere, the Paris Half Marathon is a great way to achieve a half marathon personal best time or use as a stepping stone to a full marathon as you cross the finish line where you started at the Place de la Bastille.
