Paris Marathon
The Paris Marathon is now one of the biggest marathons in the world with over 60,000 runners taking part, a large percentage travelling across the globe to this beautiful city to run through the heart of Paris!
Starting on the world famous Champs Elysees Avenue, in full site of the Arc de Triomphe, you’ll run towards the Place De la Concorde and then onto Rue de Rivoli and along the beautiful 17th century, Italian inspired, Jardin des Tuileries created by Catherine de’ Medici. This section of the run also takes you past Hotel de Ville and Place de la Bastille before entering the English landscaped gardens of Bois de Vinennes Park and onto the elegant Chateau de Vinennes.
A wide tour of Bois de Vinennes, back towards the majestic River Seine and a tour past Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay and the breath-taking structure of the Eiffel Tower before entering the Bois de Boulogne Park located along the western edge of 16th arrondissement of Paris. This area holds famous stadiums like Parc des Prince where Paris Saint-Germain play their home games and Roland Garros, a hive for the world’s best tennis players.
A final 5km run through Bois de Boulogue to experience Paris in the Springtime to the wide and spacious finish on the Avenue Foch and an unforgettable 26.2 miles.
