Bath 50 Ultra Challenge
50km Ultra Challenge – Iconic Sights and Scenic Trails
Embark on the 50km Bath Challenge, starting at the Racecourse and journeying through the heart of the city. Experience the breathtaking Royal Crescent, follow the serene River Avon, and tackle sections of the renowned Bath Circuit. Stop for a well-deserved lunch break at Coombe Down before rejoining the River Avon Trail, winding through the east of the city. Head north to connect with the Limestone Link and explore the picturesque countryside before taking on the iconic Cotswold Way. Finish back at the Racecourse, where cheers and celebrations await!
29km Half Challenge – A Perfect Mix of Urban and Rural
The 29km Half Challenge takes an anticlockwise route, past the famous Royal Crescent, then east along the tranquil River Avon. Transition into the countryside via the Limestone Link, leading to the legendary Cotswold Way. End your adventure with a triumphant finish at the Racecourse, complete with a warm celebratory welcome.
10km Family Challenge – Fun, Fitness, and Views for All
For a more leisurely but rewarding experience, the 10km route is perfect for all ages. Starting at the Racecourse, enjoy panoramic views of Bath and the surrounding countryside. This family – friendly challenge offers a delightful day out, concluding with a medal and celebration at the finish line, a memory making event for everyone.

Event Accessibility
Visually impaired participants are welcome and usually take part with someone supporting them on route. There may be a discounted charge for this to cover event costs such as food etc. Event sites are generally in playing fields or outdoor areas on flat land. For spectators, there is limited wheelchair access, and this can vary on the day depending on ground conditions.

Get Kids Going!
Get Kids Going! is a national charity which gives disabled children and young people, up to the age of 26 years, the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport. We provide them with specially built sports wheelchairs so they can do: athletics, marathons, tennis, skiing, rugby, sailing, basketball, snowboarding and many other sports.
Get Kids Going! inspires young people to compete in sporting events, from start to paralympic level, by also giving them annual sports grants to help with their; training, travel, competition fees and the development of sports’ equipment. With your help many of these amazing youngsters can become world record holders and paralympic champions!
