Jane Emmerson, Chief Executive, of Get Kids Going! would like to say a big thank you to all the members of O2E, the Ordinary 2 Extraordinary group for their wonderful support and their kind donation of £4,000 to Get Kids Going!

Jane attended the Annual O2E Awards Evening in the City of London on 18th January 2024 when she told the members about Get Kids Going! and the fantastic work the charity is doing to encourage disabled youngsters to participate in sport.  Jane thanked O2E very much indeed for all their kindness.  Jane also congratulated Jack Henson and Noel O’Meara completing the 2022 and 2023 TCS London Marathons having taken part in aid of the charity.

Jane also said “Everyone at Get Kids Going! would like to give our sincere thanks to all the members of O2E for their ongoing and kind support  – it means so much to the charity at this difficult time”.

Jane went on to say that “Get Kids Going! is only a very small charity but has a big responsibility to support and encourage the many disabled children and young people who appeal to the charity for support to enable them to participate in disabled sport all the way to the Paralympic Games.

With the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games coming up in this Summer and the 2026 Milano Cortina Paralympic Games coming up soon there is a lot pressure on the charity to give more support to these amazing youngsters!”
