Tim Jeffery (born April 9, 1996, in Newbury, England) is a British rifle shooter competing in the SH2 classification, meaning he uses a support stand to stabilize his rifle due to upper limb impairment.
Tim took up shooting at age 11 through the Scouts, determined to prove his capability – even using a rifle as long and heavy as he was – and developed into an elite athlete through sheer determination and focus.
Major Achievements
Paris 2024 Paralympic Games: Tim earned his first Paralympic medal – a bronze in the Mixed 50m Rifle Prone SH2 (R9) event with a precision score of 227.8, marking ParalympicsGB’s first shooting podium finish since London 2012
Tokyo 2020 Paralympics: He made his third consecutive Paralympic appearance, reaching finalist positions in three events, including a 6th-place finish in the R9 prone event
Rio 2016 Paralympics: Made his Paralympic debut and qualified through strong performance at the 2015 IPC Shooting World Cup in Sydney, where he won gold and secured a spot on the GB team
World Cup & World Championship Podiums: Tim has claimed multiple World Cup golds and team world championship golds, helping GB win medals in events like the Mixed 10m Air Rifle standing (SH2) and Mixed 50m Rifle prone (SH2) categories.
